Happy birthday to our beautiful daughter, Sophia. Today we celebrated her 16th birthday with a trip to the mall for a nose piercing and a wonderful dinner together in the evening.
One of her favorite places to dine is Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. Doug set up an even better version poolside, with her boyfriend, Sara, and Jake. The food was, by far, even better than Kobe’s, because it was created with a lot of thought and love by our favorite chef…dad. And he cooks best!
It was absolutely perfect, and not one element was left out. He made the traditional salad with asian dressing, soup with dried onions, rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken, and steak.
Happy birthday to a witty, smart, beauiful, and kind young woman! We love you Sooph, and couldn’t be more proud of you!
