Happy anniversary to us, and 23 years of marriage. I’m so incredibly grateful for my husband, my best friend, father to our girls, and partner in life.
To celebrate, we enjoyed a week away in Blue Ridge, GA, in a quiet and beautiful cabin! The Tranquil Trout.
It was a week of relaxation, hiking, cooking, and eating. And we visited an amazing vineyard as well.
Doug made handmade pasta, homemade bread for Italian beef sandwiches and, homemade mozzarella. WE also enjoyed lambchops and potatoes au gratin.

Our hiking day around the lake was so beautiful. I could live here.
Ziggy loved a week of quiet, void of our new yappy pup Zoya.
We discovered a new vineyard, too, Roo Mountain Vineyards.
We also played checkers, watched movies, sat by the fire, enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, and slept.
